Links
I visit random sites all
the time but there are
no particular links that
I like, unless you count
retail sites; I hate to
shop so I do it online
whenever possible
Places
Anywhere with my
family, my deck
looking at the lake,
antique shops
Restaurants
Small and eclectic –
both the décor and the
menu. Sometimes I like
quaint and other times
not so much, just
depends on the day,
the meal, the occasion
and the company
Movies
Not a big movie fan,
generally prefer film
noir to new movies –
if I watch them at all –
but I would rather
read the book
Books
Mysteries
Legal thrillers
Historical novels
Music
The songs on my iPod
run from the ‘50s
through today, classic
rock and roll to new
age, country (no Taylor
Swift) to classical.
For me it is all about
the song – if the
melody works, the
voice fits and words
move me, I don’t care
who sings it or plays it,
what genre it comes
from, I just like it. The
artist whose body of
work I like best would
have to be Neil
Diamond, been
listening to him for
over 40 years, but the
initial attraction was
that we sing in the
same basic key – even
though his range is a
little higher than mine.
